America, being the most advanced democracy of the world, presents itself as defender of the civil rights for all its citizens. The claim seems justified in many respects. The various laws implemented in the United States are the obvious proof of this claim. Regarding the benefits and safeguards of its working communities, we find many laws in the United States. Most of such laws are regulated as a federal subject but the states, as constituent parts of America, have also the right of legislation on workers’ rights. In this regard, the laws of the individual states can be seen and be quoted. The existing set up of Arkansas laws regarding workers compensation rights was the part of 2006 constitutional order. This change made Worker’s Compensation necessary on the part of all industrial enterprises while the concerned government departments strictly monitor the implementation of Arkansas laws.
Unlike most of the States of America, Arkansas Laws allow the permission of waivers. Moreover, the laws describing the definition of workers cover a long list. Most of the entries in this list are not present in other states of America. For example, under the head “numerical exception”, Arkansas Laws include even one or two workers, employed in building repair work. Likewise the sole proprietors or partners are also included in the list. The other entries describe executive officers of corporation or self-insured employers under the head workers and are thus entitled to all those benefits and legal coverage which workers in industry are entitled. Arkansas laws give choice of physician to the employer and not to the workers. But the workers may request for the change of physician once. However, the rights of the workers are strictly secured with all securities. Many governmental departments are involved in monitoring the right implementation of all laws. Arkansas laws give seven days for the compensation of job-related injuries. The time allocated is little bit more than the common practice in many other states which is usually three days. Arkansas laws also provide support to workers to aid them in legal sues for the justice of their rights. In this case, they are provided 25% of the total expanse incurred on hiring attorney. Arkansas Laws, by and far, fulfill all the requirements of workers’ laws and ensure the provision of all the benefits to the workers. They also make it possible that the workers should find a secured working environment in the state.
